This article will discuss the national identity and ethnicity of the Antimessiah (Antichrist) and will determine and proclaim that the Antimessiah (Antichrist) will be a European Jew.
Throughout millennia, theologians have attempted to figure out who the prophesied Antimessiah (Antichrist) will be. Scripture prophecy gives just enough clues to determine the national identity and ethnicity of the Antimessiah (Antichrist).
DEUTERONOMY 17:14-15 (NKJV):
“When you come to the land which YHWH (the Lord) your God is giving you, and possess it and dwell in it, and say, ‘I will set a king over me like all the nations that are around me,’ you shall surely set a king over you whom YHWH (the Lord) your God chooses; one from among your brethren you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.”
The Jews of Israel, having returned to their homeland Israel after a 1,900-year departure (Ezekiel 37:21), and after having rejected their King, Yeshua (Jesus) as their Messiah (Isaiah 53:3; Matthew 21:42; Mark 8:31, 12:10; Luke 9:22, 17:25, 20:17; John 19:13-15; Acts 4:11) are still seeking to rebuild their third temple and are waiting to receive their Messiah-King, not Yeshua (Jesus), to enter and sit in it.
Many Jewish persons have a general distrust of non-Jewish Gentile people due to their “chosen people” ethnically superior-minded attitudes and long history of persecution during the Jewish diaspora. The Jews of Israel would never accept a non-Jewish European as their Messiah, but a Jewish European man, yes, they would accept him as their long-awaited Messiah. The Jews of Israel accepting a European Jew as their Messiah is also in accordance with the setting of a king over themselves who is among their own people, according to Deuteronomy 17:14-15.
DANIEL 11:36-39 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
“Then the [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)] king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath [OF GOD] has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. He [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)] shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)] shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)] shall cause them [HIS ARMIES] to rule over many, and divide the land [OF ISRAEL] for gain [PROFIT].”
According to Daniel 11:37, this Antimessiah (Antichrist) king will not regard the God of his patriarch fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, and others. The Antimessiah (Antichrist) not regarding the God of his fathers is an indication that the Antimessiah (Antichrist) is Jewish. He likewise will not desire women, nor regard any god (pagan god or world ruler). Some have suggested that the Antimessiah (Antichrist) will be a homosexual, but Scripture does not declare that. Scripture proclaims that the Antimessiah (Antichrist) will not desire anything, not God, not women, not gods, not world leaders, but only in exalting himself above all.
The “god of fortresses,” Daniel 11:38-39, is Antimessiah’s (Antichrist’s) European armies which he will command and use as a fortress to occupy and trample upon Jerusalem for forty-two months (three-and-a-half years).
Daniel 11:38-39 then goes on to say that this Antimessiah (Antichrist) shall acknowledge and honor a ”foreign god,” and advance its glory. The “foreign god” that the Antimessiah (Antichrist) will acknowledge and advance its glory is the image of the beast (abomination of desolation), which he will set up upon the temple mount site in Jerusalem.
REVELATION 11:1-2 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the [THIRD] temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the [THIRD] temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they [THE ANTIMESSIAH’S (ANTICHRIST’S) EUROPEAN ARMIES] will tread the holy city [JERUSALEM] underfoot for forty-two months [THREE-AND-A-HALF YEARS].
REVELATION 13:14-15 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
And he [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)] deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the [NATO] beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the [NATO] beast who was wounded by the sword [NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION OF THE UNITED STATES] and lived [WAS RESTORED AS A SUPERPOWER AND BECAME THE FINAL EUROPEAN ROMAN EMPIRE].
He [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)] was granted [AI-ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PROGRAMMING] power to give breath to the image of the beast [IDOL], that the image of the beast [IDOL] should both speak and cause as many [PEOPLE] as would not worship the image of the beast [IDOL] to be killed.
DANIEL 11:31 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
“And [MILITARY] forces shall be mustered by him [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)], and they [MILITARY FORCES] shall defile the sanctuary fortress [THIRD TEMPLE]; then they [MILITARY FORCES] shall take away the daily [TEMPLE ANIMAL] sacrifices [OF THE JEWS], and place there the abomination of desolation [IDOL].”
DANIEL 12:11 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
“And from the time that the daily [TEMPLE ANIMAL] sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation [IDOL] is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.”
Yeshua (Jesus) admonished the Jews of His day, who would not receive Him as their Messiah, that they would receive another as their Messiah.
JOHN 5:43 (NKJV):
“I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.”
Yeshua (Jesus) said that He came in His Father’s name and the Jews, His chosen people, did not receive Him. The Hebrew name of the Messiah is Yeshua or the more formal Yahshua, both of which mean ‘Yah saves.’ Yah is a short form of YHWH, the four letters that form the tetragrammaton, the personal name of Elohim (God).
MATTHEW 1:20-24 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
Behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Yosef (Joseph) in a dream, saying, “Yosef (Joseph), son of Dawid (David), do not be afraid to take to you Miriam (Mary) your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Yeshua (Jesus), for He will save His people from their sins.”
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet [ISAIAH 7:14], saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “El (God) with us.”
Then Yoseph (Joseph), being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her [CARNALLY] till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Yeshua (Jesus).
Yeshua (Jesus) is also less commonly known as Immanuel. The “El’ of Immanuel” is the Hebrew word for God and Immanuel means “El (God) with us.”
Yeshua (Jesus) came in His Father’s name to the Jews, yet they did not receive Him. Another is coming in his own Jewish surname, the Antimessiah (Antichrist), who will be a European Jew and the Jews of Israel will receive him as their Messiah.
JOHN 5:43 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
“I have come in My Father’s name [YHWH, El], and you do not receive Me [AS YOUR MESSIAH]; if another [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)] comes in his own [JEWISH] name, him [ANTIMESSIAH (ANTICHRIST)] you will receive [AS YOUR MESSIAH].”
Why will the Jews receive the Antimessiah (Antichrist) as their long-awaited Messiah?
MARK 13:1-2 (NKJV):
Then as Yeshua (Jesus) went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!”
And Yeshua (Jesus) answered and said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

The Antimessiah (Antichrist) will make a 7-year peace covenant with many nations and Israel (Daniel 9:27). He will convince the Muslims to take down their mosques from Jerusalem’s temple mount site allowing the Jews of Israel to rebuild their temple there (Revelation 11:1). The Jews hated and rejected Yeshua (Jesus) for proclaiming that their temple would be destroyed (Matthew 26:61, 27:40; Mark 14:58, 15:29; John 2:20), but will love and receive the Antimessiah (Antichrist) for making it possible for their third temple to be erected. The Antimessiah (Antichrist), even though he is of Jewish descent, will have no regard for his Jewish lineage, nor of God (Daniel 11:37). He will double-cross the Jews of Israel after three-and-a-half years (Daniel 9:27), invade and trample Jerusalem (Daniel 9:26; Revelation 11:2), sit in the rebuilt temple and declare to the world that he is God (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4), and he will set up his image of the beast (abomination of desolation) idol at the temple mount site and compel the people of the world to worship his image (Matthew 24:15; Mark 13:14; Revelation 13:14-15).
Many Jews will initially be deceived and believe that the Antimessiah (Antichrist) is their true long-awaited Messiah. When the elect Jews of Israel see the image of the beast (abomination of desolation) idol set up at the temple mount site, they will remember their history of the golden calf incident after their exodus from Egypt (Exodus 32) and will realize that the Antimessiah (Antichrist) is not their Messiah. The elect Jews will then heed the testimony of the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3-12, who will proclaim to them that Yeshua (Jesus) is their one and only true Messiah and to repent of their sins and obey His commandments.
Many Jews of Israel will then receive the gospel at this time and heed the warning of Yeshua (Jesus) that He gave for them.
MATTHEW 24:15-20; MARK 13:14-18 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
“Therefore when you [JEWS OF ISRAEL] see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ [IDOL] spoken of by Daniel the prophet [DANIEL 11:31, 12:11], standing in the holy place [THE TEMPLE COURTYARD]” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.”
The Antimessiah (Antichrist) will be a European Jewish leader, a person who is a master politician, charismatic, deceitful, influential, and wealthy. As a European, he will be able to command the European Union (the final Roman Empire) and as a Jew, he will have a Jewish surname by which the Jews of Israel will accept and receive him as their Messiah. He will set up his image of the beast (abomination of desolation) idol at the temple mount site and the elect Jews of Israel will then reject him as their Messiah and will then come to the knowledge that Yeshua (Jesus) is their one, true, and only Messiah.
