CATHOLICS, COME OUT AND STAY AWAY!

During the two major pagan-adopted holiday celebration seasons, Christmas and Easter, the Catholic Church typically runs ad campaigns appealing to ex-Catholics’ sense of nostalgia and tradition in an attempt to persuade ex-Catholics to “come home” to the Catholic Church. This article will urge Catholics to come out of the Catholic Church, and ex-Catholics considering returning to stay away from Catholicism and find a new home.

COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE SEPARATE

ISAIAH 42:8:
I am YHWH (the Lord), that is My name, and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images.

2 CORINTHIANS 6:16-17:
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE SEPARATE, says YHWH (the Lord).”

The Catholic Church is a house of idols. The Catholic faithful deny this obvious truth. Utilizing carved, molten, painted, and stone images of Jesus, Mary, the saints, and others, to use them in any manner, is in violation of the first and second commandments and is a condemned practice throughout all of Scripture.

The Catholic Church is not a true church, nor is it the church that Jesus Christ or Peter started. Ex-Catholics, you came out of the Catholic Church for a reason, because it is a church of deception. There are good, well-intentioned people in the Catholic Church, but that is not a reason to either remain in the Catholic Church or to return to it [1].

YOU MUST WORSHIP GOD IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH

JOHN 4:23-24:
“True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

SCRIPTURE MAKES ONE WISE FOR SALVATION THROUGH FAITH; SALVATION DOES NOT COME THROUGH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

2 TIMOTHY 3:15-17:
From childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus). All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Contrary to what the Catholic Church has told its flock throughout millennia, God does want His believers to study and know the Scriptures.

EX-CATHOLICS, DON’T LOOK BACK

GENESIS 19:24-26:
Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens. So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.
But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Ex-Catholics, remember the story of Lot and his wife. God commanded Lot and his family to leave Sodom AND NOT LOOK BACK. Sodom was a high standard of living city, but it was a city full of corruption and wickedness. God decided to judge Sodom to destruction, but Lot, a righteous man, was spared the judgment of God and was ordered to leave Sodom with his family AND NOT LOOK BACK. But, as it came to pass, Lot’s wife looked back at Sodom and she became a pillar of salt.

Ex-Catholics, who have left the comforts, falsehoods, grand cathedrals, idolatrous imagery, and other enticements of the Catholic Church, don’t be like Lot’s wife. DON’T LOOK BACK!

EX-CATHOLICS, DO NOT RETURN TO BONDAGE

NUMBERS 14:2-4:
And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”

Ex-Catholics, remember the Hebrews’ Exodus from Egypt. The Hebrews dwelt in Egypt and became slaves (Exodus 1:8-14). The Hebrews were in bondage to the Egyptians for 400-years (Genesis 15:13; Exodus 12:40-41). God raised up Moses from within Egypt to be His deliverer to free the Hebrews from their Egyptian slave masters (Exodus 3:10; Acts 7:35). God performed many miracles to release the Hebrew people from the bondage of Egypt, but while they were traveling in the desert, many of the Hebrews began to grumble and complain. They wanted to return to Egypt!

Egypt was a magnificent city, for sure, and many of the Hebrews preferred to be slaves in the security of Egypt, rather than free people traveling through a desert to a land of promise and uncertainty.

Ex-Catholics, who miss the grand cathedrals and comforts of the Catholic Church, remember that these are just material things that keep you in bondage from the freedom and truth you have in Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) and the Scriptures.

STAY AWAY AND DO NOT RETURN

2 PETER 2:20-22:
For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ), they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

Ex-Catholics, who have escaped the pollutions of the Catholic Church and have gained knowledge of the truth of the Scriptures, do not be like a dog that returns to his vomit, or a pig that returns to her mud. Ex-Catholics, who know the Catholic Church to be a false church, why would you consider returning to your former bondage? Stay away and do not return to the Catholic Church.

God’s love for His children is greater than any comfort or sense of security that the Catholic Church can seemingly provide. It may be initially difficult to come out from the Catholic Church, stay away, and navigate through the desert to find a new home – a good Scripture-studying church, but it will be well worth it.
