DO YOUR BEST TO PRESENT YOURSELF TO GOD AS ONE APPROVED

As believers living in these end times, the urgency is upon all to repent and live righteously as the end of this age quickly approaches. The age of grace will soon expire. The great tribulation will soon be upon the world and it will catch many unaware who are unprepared for it. All will one day have to stand before the presence of Yeshua (Jesus) the Lord. There are far too many Christians and others who have become content with sin, being lukewarm about the critical necessity to repent from it and live righteously. This article will advise and warn believers to not be complacent about sin in their lives, encourage them to repent from their sins, live righteously, and prepare to present themselves before God as one approved.

MATTHEW 4:17:
From that time Yeshua (Jesus) began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand.”

When Yeshua (Jesus) came to fulfill His role as the Messiah (Christ), He instructed people to repent, for the kingdom of God was at hand. He Himself was the representative of the kingdom of God who was at hand.

MATTHEW 24:11-12:
Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

Many ministers in mainstream Christian churches in these end times are deceiving many, teaching their flock to not repent, that the law is done away with, and that it is impossible for believers to live righteously.

MATTHEW 11:20:
Then He [YESHUA (JESUS)] began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent.

MATTHEW 13:41-43:
The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

Refusing to repent, living lawlessly (not keeping His commandments), and relying on His endless eternal grace that will one day expire, is not the way to prepare to stand before the kingdom of God.

REVELATION 2:21, 3:3,19:
“And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she DID NOT REPENT.”…
“Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast AND REPENT. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”…
“Be zealous AND REPENT.”

In the end times, many sins that ‘believers’ refuse to repent of are carnal sins, sexual sins of the flesh. Gays, fornicators, and adulterers (those who cheat on their spouses and those who have married in adultery), who were once widely considered disgraceful, are now embraced by many as normal and acceptable. Sexual norms may change throughout the decades, but Yeshua (Jesus) is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-10:
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the reign of Elohim (kingdom of God)? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous (greedy of gain), nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the reign of Elohim (kingdom of God).

GALATIANS 5:19-21:
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, drug sorcery, hatred, quarrels, jealousies, fits of rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the reign of Elohim (kingdom of God).

EPHESIANS 5:5-6:
For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Messiah (Christ) and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

REVELATION 21:7-8:
He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. The cowardly, untrustworthy, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, drug sorcerers, idolators, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

A faithful, law-keeping believer once rebuked a lawless-minded, sin-excusing, “if God exists He loves everyone, don’t judge me,” type agnostic. The agnostic said to the faithful believer, “You seem to know the book of the Lord, but do you know the Lord of the book?” The intention of the question was to suggest that the book of the Lord, the Scriptures, contained a holy, righteous, sin-hating God, but the Lord of the book was somehow different: a non-judgmental, permissive, perpetually-forgiving, sin-tolerating God.

The faithful believer pondered the rhetorical question for a few moments and replied. “The Lord of the book is the exact same Lord written about in the book of the Lord.”

In these end times, many people do not know the book of the Lord and therefore do not know the Lord of the Scriptures. Many believe that Yeshua (Jesus) died so we can live in sin perpetually, and that He will accept us in His kingdom just as we are.

People often try to make Yeshua (Jesus) into a God of their liking, dismissing the
Scripture account of who Yeshua (Jesus) is.

It has been said that when the Messiah (Christ) came, the Jews were expecting a Lion, but got a Lamb, and when Yeshua (Jesus) returns, Christians will be expecting a Lamb, but will get a Lion. Yeshua (Jesus) fulfilled His sacrificial role as the Lamb and He is returning as the Lion of Judah (Revelation 5:5).

LUKE 13:2-5:
And Yeshua (Jesus) answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, NO; BUT UNLESS YOU REPENT YOU WILL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, NO; BUT UNLESS YOU REPENT YOU WILL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH.”

Luke 13:2-5 conveys a correlated message for sinners of these end times:

Do you suppose that the homosexuals of Sodom were worse than all other homosexuals, because they suffered such things (the destruction of Sodom Genesis 19:24-25, Luke 17:29)? Yeshua (Jesus) would tell you NO; BUT UNLESS YOU REPENT YOU WILL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH.

To the fornicators and adulterers of these end times, do you think that the unrestrained Hebrew sinners, who fled Egypt in the Exodus, were worse unrestrained sinners than you, because about three thousand of them died for their sins (Exodus 32:25-28)? Yeshua (Jesus) would tell you NO; BUT UNLESS YOU REPENT YOU WILL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH.

CONSEQUENCES

For believers and others who are ignorantly living in deadly sins (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:5-6, Revelation 21:7-8), the minimal consequence for such persons will be rejection from reigning with Yeshua (Jesus) during the millennium kingdom. For those who intentionally and ultimately reject God’s laws, refuse to repent, and sin freely, the punishment will be the second death in hell.

HOSEA 4:6:
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God.

COLOSSIANS 2:18:
Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels.

REVELATION 20:6:
Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Messiah (Christ), and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

PROTOCOL AND ETIQUETTE BEFORE ROYALTY AND RULERS

Before being presented before earthly royalty, proper etiquette and protocol guidelines are prescribed to those invited to meet a king, queen, president, or other ruler. These directives vary between various providences and kingdoms, but there are always rules that must be followed.

PRESENTING ONESELF TO THE KING OF KINGS

2 TIMOTHY 2:15:
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

To best present oneself before God, these are a few recommendations to do in preparation for that meeting: accept Yeshua (Jesus) as Lord and Savior, believe and study upon His word as recorded in the Holy Scriptures, repent of all sin, get baptized as a public declaration of faith, live righteously through obeying His commandments as best as possible, enjoy fellowship with fellow believers, do good deeds, and pray to God daily to experience a personal relationship with Him.

JOHN 14:21:
“He who has My commandments AND KEEPS THEM, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

JAMES 1:12:
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

1 JOHN 3:10:
In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

REVELATION 22:14-15:
Blessed are those WHO DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

Do not be deceived with false teachings and empty words of not needing to repent or not needing to keep the commandments of God. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved.
