This article will cover and [INTERPRET] Zechariah 8, which is a prophetic synopsis of the Millennium Kingdom through the second resurrection.

ZECHARIAH 8:1-12 (NKJV):
Again the word of YHWH (the Lord) of hosts came, saying,
“Thus says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts: ‘I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great fervor I am zealous for her.’
Thus says YHWH (the Lord): ‘I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem [WHEN HE RETURNS, DURING THE MILLENNIUM KINGDOM REIGN]. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain of YHWH (the Lord) of hosts, the Holy Mountain.’
“Thus says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts: ‘Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each one with his staff in his hand because of great age. The streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.’
“Thus says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts: ‘If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, will it also be marvelous in My eyes?’ says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts.
“Thus says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts: ‘Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east [ASIA] and from the land of the west [THE AMERICAS -ISAIAH 18:5-7]; I will bring them back, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people and I will be their God, in truth and righteousness.’
“Thus says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts: ‘Let your hands be strong, you who have been hearing in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, who spoke in the day the foundation was laid for the house of YHWH (the Lord) of hosts, that the temple might be built [THE TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM WILL BE REBUILT]. For before these days there were no wages for man nor any hire for beast [DURING THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION]; there was no peace from the enemy [ENEMIES OF ISRAEL] for whoever went out or came in; for I set all men, everyone, against his neighbor [DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION WARS]. But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,’ says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts. ‘For the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give its fruit, the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew – I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these.’

ZECHARIAH 8:13-23 (NKJV):
‘And it shall come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you [YESHUA (JESUS) WILL PROTECT THE FIRST FRUITS OF THE FIRST RESURRECTION LIVING IN THE BELOVED CITY JERUSALEM, FROM SATAN’S FINAL REBELLION – REVELATION 20:7-10], and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.’
“For thus says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts: ‘Just as I determined to punish you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath,’ says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts, ‘And I would not relent, so again in these days I am determined to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear. These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace; let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; and do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate,’ says YHWH (the Lord).”
Then the word of YHWH (the Lord) of hosts came to me, saying,
“Thus says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts: ‘The fast of the fourth month, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be joy and gladness and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah [THE FEASTS OF YHWH (THE LORD) WILL BE OBSERVED – LEVITICUS 23]. Therefore love truth and peace.’
“Thus says YHWH (the Lord) of hosts: ‘Peoples shall yet come, inhabitants of many cities; the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, “Let us continue to go and pray before YHWH (the Lord), and seek YHWH (the Lord) of hosts. I myself will go also.” [PEOPLE OF THE SECOND RESURRECTION, THOSE WHO WERE PENITENT AND REFUSED TO JOIN SATAN’S FINAL REBELLION AGAINST THE BELOVED CITY OF JERUSALEM, WILL TRAVEL TO JERUSALEM TO SEEK YHWH (THE LORD)]. Yes, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek YHWH (the Lord) of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before YHWH (the Lord).’
“Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish* man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you” [PENITENT MEN OF THE SECOND RESURRECTION, FROM EVERY NATION, WILL SEEK RIGHTEOUS MEN OF THE FIRST RESURRECTION TO PREPARE AND GUIDE THEM IN ALL TRUTH AND UNDERSTANDING, SO THAT THEY CAN MAKE THEMSELVES ACCEPTABLE TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD].

*Many in Judaism and Messianic Judaism have incorrectly used Zechariah 8:23 to declare that only ethnic Jews will be first fruits of God’s kingdom, and in order for Gentiles to be able to enter, they will need to be led in by Jewish men. This ethnic Jew self-gratifying belief is incorrect for a few reasons. It would mean that God judges people by their Jewish ethnicity, not by their righteousness and faith. Non-ethnic Jewish Gentiles will be raptured and resurrected to eternal life and will dwell with Yeshua (Jesus) in Jerusalem during the Millennium Kingdom. So, if a non-Jewish Gentile, who lived 90-years as an American, were resurrected or raptured and then spent a thousand years in Jerusalem with Yeshua (Jesus), for all intents and purposes the American would be grafted in to the kingdom, becoming Jewish over the Millennium Reign through culture, faith, and immigration.

ROMANS 2:11,28-29 (NKJV):
For there is no partiality with God. …
For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

The word ‘Hebrew’ means to cross over; to cross over from man-made traditions and lies into Scripture truth. During the Millennium Kingdom, Gentiles from many nations will cross over from the countries they dwelled in to live with Yeshua (Jesus) in Jerusalem for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4-6). The people of the second resurrection will think of both Gentiles and ethnic Jews, who are first fruits of the kingdom, as Jerusalem-dwelling Jews.
