GENESIS 9:12-16 (NKJV):
And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”

The rainbow is a creation of Almighty God proclaiming a covenant promise that He would never again flood the Earth in judgment as He did in the Genesis flood of Noah’s time. Scripture records that God has judged the Earth and its inhabitants numerous times after the Genesis flood. God did not say or make a promise that He would never again judge the Earth, but only that He wouldn’t do so through a worldwide flood.

The rainbow flag, commonly called the gay pride flag or LGBT pride flag, is a 6-striped rainbow colored flag that is a self-proclaimed symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) pride. A variation of the LGBT pride flag is a similar striped flag with an added blue field of fifty stars adopted from the current U.S. flag, now fittingly so, after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled gay marriage constitutional in all fifty states on June 26, 2015. San Francisco, California artist and gay rights activist Gilbert Baker designed the gay pride flag in 1978. It can be argued, from a spiritual perspective, that Satan inspired the gay pride flag. [2]

The rainbow is officially comprised of seven colors, not six. The rainbow’s colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet and can be remembered through the acronym ROY G BIV. An observation of the gay pride flag is that it contains six colored stripes, not seven. Six is the spiritual number of Satan while seven is the number of completion, a number of God. The gay pride flag’s colors are ROY G BV, which are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. Missing from the gay pride flag is the color indigo.

There are six colored stripes on the gay pride flag. The U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of gay marriage came on a Friday – the 6th day of the week, in June – the 6th month of the year on the Gregorian calendar, and on the twenty-6th day of June.

Satan is thumbing his nose at God, using one of God’s own creations – the rainbow, as a symbol to provoke Him to anger. God will never flood the entire Earth again, as He will keep His rainbow covenant promise, but God will judge the Earth by other means.

The sin of homosexuality had become rampant in Sodom. Soon after God’s messengers visited Sodom and entered Lot’s home, Lot was accosted by a group of homosexual men who demanded to rape his guests. God had seen enough of the wickedness of Sodom and judged Sodom with fire from heaven (Genesis 19).

Homosexuals in America and other Western ‘Christian’ nations will not rest on their laurels with their gay marriage political victories. They will behave more evilly, just as they always have, whenever and wherever homosexuality was tolerated, celebrated, and institutionalized. Homosexuals will become more sexually aggressive and predatory, more intolerant, and more hostile towards Messianic and Christian believers in the times ahead.

The gay pride flag is not a flag of diversity, love, and tolerance. It is a battle flag that proudly flaunts sexual depravity, in all its LGBTQ+ forms, and is a flag of intolerance to those opposed to the sinful homosexual lifestyle, and is a flag that attempts to mock the God of Scripture.

God will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). God’s judgment will come to the unrepentant LGBT community and their spiritually ignorant heterosexual supporters who wrap themselves around their gay pride flag (Proverbs 16:18).

The rainbow belongs to Almighty God. Yeshua (Jesus) will reclaim the rainbow and reestablish it for His kingdom and glory upon His return (Revelation 10:1).
