PSALM 139:14 (Condensed – NKJV):
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
King David proclaimed in Psalm 139:14 that he was fearfully and wonderfully made and that his soul knew this very well. By extension, all of humanity has been fearfully and wonderfully made, from the lowest to the greatest, from the servant to the master, from the poorest to the richest, from the peasant to the king, as we were all formed in the womb and made, just as King David was made, with the exception of Adam and Eve, who were also fearfully and wonderfully made, just by a different miraculous method – Genesis 2:7,21-23.
Modern science reveals just how fearfully and wonderfully made we all are.
THE SCIENTIFICICALLY DOCUMENTED MOMENT OF CONCEPTION
GENESIS 1:3 (NKJV):
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
At the moment of human conception, there is a flash of light, and life begins.
When a human sperm enters an egg, there is a flash of light that bursts when the sperm enters the egg. Scientists believe it is a release of zinc that comes off the egg to create this appearance. Light happens when life happens.
PSALM 139:13-14 (NKJV) [WITH INTERPRETATION]:
For You formed my inward parts [MY SPINE]; You covered [WOVE] me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works that my soul knows very well.
The Scriptures were not always written literally to be understood, but were sometimes written allegorically, figuratively, metaphorically, mysteriously, or mystically.
As it turns out, every human being’s inward parts, the human spine, was literally woven into existence in the womb, as Scripture declares, before being born.
JEREMIAH 1:5 (NKJV):
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.”
Surely, God has fearfully and wonderfully made us, for before He even formed us in the womb of our mother, He knew us.
AND THEN THERE IS THE FOOL…
PSALM 14:1 & 53:1 (NIV):
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
The fool has said in his or her heart that a human embryo or fetus is nothing more than a clump of cells. Scripture and science reveal that life begins with a flash of light at conception and that human beings are fearfully and wonderfully made!
