The seven trumpets of Revelation are revealed in this article (the visions which appeared to the Apostle John who described them):

REVELATION 8:7 (NKJV):
The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

THE FIRST TRUMPET – Revelation 8:7:
“Hail and fire mingled with blood” refers to the ground warfare of WWI and WWII. “Hail” (bullets) and “fire” (exploded gunpowder fire) “followed” and the bullets “mingled with the blood” of soldiers engaged in ground warfare. “They,” the soldiers, were “thrown to the earth,” after being shot and killed. A third of the trees and green grass that was burned up refers to the scorched earth policy of WWI and WWII in which retreating armies would burn anything that could be useful to the enemy.

REVELATION 8:8-9 (NKJV):
Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

THE SECOND TRUMPET – Revelation 8:8-9:
The “great mountain burning with fire cast into the sea” was the atomic bombing of Japan. Japan is an island nation surrounded by sea and the atom bombs detonated on Japan appeared as inverted mountains of fire. A third of the world’s warships were lost (sunk) in WWII. Nuclear bombs were detonated by the United States in the Bikini Atoll waters from 1948-1958.

REVELATION 8:10-11 (NKJV):
Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

THE THIRD TRUMPET – Revelation 8:10-11:
Wormwood was the 1986 Russian Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster, where the waters were poisoned. Radiation from Chernobyl has poisoned many people and estimates vary that 100,000 to 250,000 people have acquired various cancers as a result of the Chernobyl (translated: Wormwood) disaster.

The 2011 Japanese Fukushima nuclear plant accident is a further fulfillment of the third trumpet, as it is the same type of disaster that Chernobyl was and it is affecting the waters of the Pacific.

REVELATION 8:12-13 (NKJV):
Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”

THE FOURTH TRUMPET – Revelation 8:12:
In the fourth trumpet, “a third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.”

In the Middle East region, a third of the sky was darkened at the conclusion of the First Gulf War in 1991. Saddam Hussein’s scorched earth policy burning of the Kuwaiti oil fields upon his loss in the First Gulf War was the fulfillment the fourth trumpet.

REVELATION 9:1-11 (NKJV):
Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them. The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

THE FIFTH TRUMPET – Revelation 9:1-11:
The “locusts” coming up from the “bottomless pit” are a first century description of armored helicopters, fighter jet planes, and drones as seen by the Apostle John. Coming from the bottomless pit indicates that these armored aircrafts are of Satan’s end time beast army.

There was no word for ‘helicopter’ in the first century, so John described these flying machines that brought destruction in the best descriptive way that he could. To him they appeared as locusts in formation – like horses lined up for battle. They had “crowns” like gold (steel rotors/roofs), their “faces” were like human faces (the helmeted pilots), their “hair” was the helicopter blades that appeared like strands of women’s hair, their “teeth” were their automatic machine guns and rockets, their “breastplates” were the steel cage cockpits the pilots fly in, and a helicopter makes the sound of many chariot horses running into battle. The stings in their tails are rockets.

These end time armored war helicopters and other fighter aircraft did not harm the grass (global warming concerns), but only persons who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads, those persons who are NOT of God.

Revelation 9:1-11 describes the global warming environmentally-minded ‘war’ the American-led Coalition has waged on Islamic terrorists.

REVELATION 9:4-5 (NKJV):
They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months.

“They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, …”

They (U.S. led Coalition armed forces) were commanded with global warming (climate change) concerns in mind, not to harm the grass, green things, or any trees. American President Barack Obama, in his environmentally-minded “war” on ISIS, did not order the bombing of ISIS oil infrastructure due to environmental impact concerns [1].

“… but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”

Islamic men do not have the seal of God, figuratively speaking, on their foreheads (minds). Muslims reject Yeshua (Jesus) as their Messiah – the seal of God, and believe in their prophet Muhammad as the messenger of their god Allah.

“And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months.”

They (Coalition commanders) did not have authority to kill Islamic terrorist men. When American and Coalition commanders actually did order the bombing of ISIS buildings and oil tankers, they first ordered their pilots to drop leaflets giving their Islamic terrorist combat enemies at least 45-minutes of advance warning notice to flee for their lives. Muslim men knew that their buildings or oil tankers were about to be destroyed, which gave them ample time to escape before the bombs dropped.

REVELATION 9:1-11 FULFILLED

The torment of Muslim men by American-led Coalition forces is fulfillment of Scripture prophecy Revelation 9 through verse 11, reflecting the date of the 9-11-2001 Islamic terrorist attacks against America.

REVELATION 9:12-21 (NKJV):
One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things.
Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone.

By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed – by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm. But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

THE SIXTH TRUMPET – Revelation 9:13-21:
The sixth trumpet is the great tribulation, which begins with the destruction of America, followed by a third of mankind killed and the rise of the Antichrist, who will impose the mark of the beast (Revelation 14:8-10).

REVELATION 9:15-19 (NKJV):
So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone, which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.

Fire, smoke, and brimstone (via conventional and nuclear wars) are going to be the means of death of one third of the world’s population. Fire comes forth from the barrels (tails) and out the muzzles (mouths) of tanks.

Fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow (Revelation 9:17) are the national colors of the flags and emblems of the Russian, Chinese, and North Korean peoples. Asia is home to some of the most heavily populated regions in the world. The Russian-led 200-million man armies of China and North Korea will first destroy America. During the great tribulation that follows, one third of the world’s population will be killed through war.

REVELATION 9:20-21 (NKJV):
But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Revelation 9:20-21 is a reference to the Western democratic nations and the Catholic and Protestant people within these countries who survive the great tribulation. The Catholic Church possesses the Scriptures, yet it has always sought to change the laws of God (Daniel 7:25), most notably, it houses, makes, and worships carved image idols. Protestants (Protesting Catholics) may believe that they do not serve or worship idols, but during their Christmas festival season they set up and serve Christmas tree idols in their homes (Jeremiah 10:1-6) and set up and serve manger scene idol displays.

Most people in the Western Christian democratic nations do not rampantly murder one another, with the exception of abortion, in which many do freely murder. Most often, people do not repent of abortion murder afterward, but simply seem to want to forget it. Many people who do not commit actual abortion murder, still support the ‘right’ of a woman to kill her child, thus support murder and are not repentant over it.

The Western democracies are home to many types of sorceries (astrology, pharmaceutical and illegal drugs, and new age religions) and are extremely sexually immoral (through adultery, fornication, homosexuality, and pornography). The Western Christian democratic nations, with the exception of Americans killed who are not raptured, are among the “rest of mankind” that will not be primarily killed by the plagues of Revelation 9:15-19, but are the ones who will not repent of their national sins of idolatry, murder, sorceries, sexual immorality, or thefts (Revelation 9:20-21).

REVELATION 11:15-19 (NKJV):
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying:
“We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

THE SEVENTH TRUMPET – Revelation 11:15-19
The seventh trumpet is the final trumpet and signals the resurrection of the dead in Messiah (Christ), the worldwide rapture of the saints, and the return of Messiah (Christ) (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52). Yeshua (Jesus) will set up His millennium kingdom and reign with His first fruit saints for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4-6).
